Winter is big-air season on the west coast, and this is every big-air kite we have physically in Galway today. Not on order, not at a distributor: in the trailer, pumped up and checked, ready to collect this week or posted anywhere in Ireland. There is one of each, prices are already below what the big EU shops charge for the equivalent, and when one goes, it's gone.
Kites on their own
North Orbit Ultra N-u80 9m, 1 of 1 prototype: €1,869
The one that gets people messaging. A pre-production Orbit Ultra in a grey colourway that never went on sale, flown three times by Paddy and never in the school. North's production Orbit Ultra retails at €2,449; this one is the same N-u80 airframe, and it's the kite generation that won the 2025 women's King of the Air. Paddy's first-ride review is here. See the kite.
North Orbit Pro 10m, ex-demo: €1,199
Just listed. A 2025 Orbit Pro from our demo fleet with around ten sessions on it, no repairs, original bag. The Pro is the competition build of the Orbit with the lighter N-Max2 airframe, and the 10m is the size most riders here fly most. €2,100 new. See the kite.
Vantage Vulture Gen 4, ex-instructor: 12m €929 and 10m €869, both 40% off
Our own Vulture Gen 4s, ridden by us and looked after. Vantage's big-air kite built around Aileron X flight control, a higher aspect ratio and a lighter airframe for height and hangtime. The 12m turns a 14-knot day into a session; the 10m is the 18 to 28 knot workhorse. 12m | 10m
North Orbit, ex-instructor: 14m €939, 10m €879, 8m €659 (60% off)
Three Orbits from the school quiver, different model years, all checked before they go out. The Orbit is stable and forgiving enough to progress on, which is why we taught on it, and it's the family behind the last two women's KOTA titles. The 14m is the light-wind kite for the most days on the water, the 10m the everyday size, the 8m the one for the winter blows. 14m | 10m | 8m
North Orbit 2025 8m, brand new: €819
The last brand-new 2025 Orbit we have, in Pacific Blue, €830 under the €1,649 RRP. Kite only. If you want a new big-air 8m for storm season at a used-kite price, this is the one. See the kite.

Which size for an Irish winter?
For an average-weight rider on the west coast, a 10m or 9m does the most days from October to March, an 8m is the storm kite, and a 12m or 14m is for the lighter days and heavier riders. If you're buying one kite, buy the 10m or 9m and add the 8m when you've used up your excuses. If you're not sure, our kite size guide walks through it, or WhatsApp us your weight and your home spot and we'll tell you straight.
