Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, email paddyintheelements@gmail.com or WhatsApp 087 144 8888. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package, or arrange a drop-off in Galway. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us straight away if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so we can sort it out and make it right.

Exceptions and non-returnable items

Custom and special-order items cannot be returned unless faulty: this includes custom-built boards (for example Appletree and Lieuwe custom builds), gear ordered in from a brand in a specific size or colour for you, and made-to-order packages. Gift cards and lesson vouchers cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions about a specific item before you order.

Ex-demo and ex-instructor gear

Used gear is inspected, pumped up and photographed before it is listed so you can see the actual item. It is sold as described, and the same 30-day return policy applies if it is not as described.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. For sizing swaps on kites, wings and wetsuits, message us first; we can often sort it quicker.

Refunds

We will let you know once we have received and inspected your return and whether the refund is approved. If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method. Please allow some time for your bank or card company to process it.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under Irish and EU consumer law, including the 14-day right to cancel an online order.
