About Us Kitesurfing School Galway
Coaching At Paddyintheelements we believe in Quality over Quantity, so we only offer 1 to 1 private lessons. This ensures you get what you pay for and quality time on the kite with 1:1 instruction, Other schools in Ireland will do the first land-lessons with 6 students to 1 instructor and the on-water lessons with 4 students to 1 instructor. This severely hampers your learning time, dilutes your instruction and means your're paying for 3 hours of lessons and may only get 1 hour of actual kite flying time. We believe that 1:1 instruction is the most bang for your buck and also the safest on the water.
Retail We have tested and ensured that all the brands we sell we truly believe in and know that they can stand up to the harsh conditions on the Wild Atlantic Way. Local knowledge and expertise available for your first Kite Purchase or board.
Local Having grown up in Galway,windsurfing in Rusheen Bay, sailing in Galway bay and being a member of the RNLI here in Galway/Plymouth as a lifesaving crew member. Paddy has lots of experience both on and off the water and will ensure that you are well looked after with safety as a priority. Paddy is also registered as a PHECC Advanced Paramedic with over 12 years experience in the NHS on the frontline.

Great news - Paddyintheelements has been approved as an official British Kitesports Association Kite school here in Galway, Ireland.

We are now the ONLY Kite school in Ireland that is affiliated with the BKSA. 

This means that we have passed a rigorous assessment process including risk assessments, full commercial insurance, BKSA level 1 instructor training, training logs, Emergency action plans etc.
