North Orbit Ultra N-u80 2026 Prototype 1 of 1 – 9m Grey Edition, Kite Only
1 of 1. The only one like it anywhere. This is a 2026 pre-production prototype of the kite North have now released as the Orbit Ultra — the same N-u80 Ultra PE airframe, the same design, the same kite — in a limited-edition grey colourway that never went into production. Lightly used: flown three times, by Paddy personally, and that’s it. It has never been a school kite. Fully checked, no repairs, nothing to report.
North call the production version “the fastest, most reactive Orbit”: a thinner N-u80 leading edge for quicker loops, a six-point bridle, higher aspect ratio and a more cambered profile built for overpowered big air. The 9m is the everyday send size for an Irish winter. The production kite retails at €2,449 — this one is €1,799, and it’s the one the pros were flying before anyone could buy it.
