We ride together
A family-run kite & wing/parawing crew on the Wild Atlantic Way
Our story
Paddy in the Elements is a family business on the Wild Atlantic Way. We’re Paddy and Laura — two Galway natives, native Irish speakers, and a pair of dogs — and we live and breathe the water here on the West Coast of Ireland.
Paddy is a Senior Instructor with the BKSA and we’re the only BKSA-recognised kitesurfing school in Ireland. He’s also an Advanced Paramedic, ex-RNLI lifesaving crew and a Level 3 swiftwater rescue technician — so safety isn’t a tickbox for us, it’s second nature.
We’re your local kite, wing and parawing experts — the people who actually ride these waters and know what works here. We only sell gear we’d ride ourselves and test in real Irish Atlantic conditions, and every lesson is private 1:1, never a group — just you, your coach and the water.
We’re not a franchise or a summer pop-up. We’re local, Irish-owned and run, and we care about the riders and the community we share these waters with. Local experts you can trust. Choose local. Ride better. Ride with Paddy in the Elements.
