Code Foils have started making boards, and they are on the site today. Prone, mid-length prone, the WASP all-rounder, downwind SUPs and a foil-assist board with the battery sunk into the hull. Alongside them the new Rv2 front wing, the full mast line-up from the aluminium entry mast to the Black Series, every fuselage length and the spares. All of it priced against the big German and Dutch Code dealers, so buying at home in Ireland costs you nothing extra. Here is what landed and who each piece is for.
Code boards: four shapes, one construction
Marcus and Ben Tardrew shaped the range (Sunova, among others, is in their past), and every board is full carbon with a high-density PVC wrap and heavily reinforced foil tracks. They all take a Foil Drive. They all come with a fitted deck pad and a proper board bag. The boards are built to order for the first Irish allocation, so they are on pre-order: you pick your size now, we confirm the build slot and delivery date on WhatsApp, and if the date does not suit you we refund in full.
WASP, €2,219 to €2,559
Wing, Assist, SUP, Parawing. If you only own one foil board on the west coast this is the shape: 50L to 115L, eight sizes, and up to 90L you get multiple footstrap insert positions. The 50 to 65L boards are the sinker wing and parawing sizes; 80 to 90L is where most Galway Bay wingers will land; 98L and up are the SUP-foil and light-wind boards.
Prone and Mid-Length Prone, €1,329 to €1,629
Two shapes. The compact Prone (26 to 40L) is the loose surf-foil board. The Mid-Length Prone (29 to 40L at 5'0" to 5'6") is longer and narrower for easier paddle-ins and more glide on the way back out, which for our beach breaks is the one we would point most people at.
Downwind SUP, €2,329 to €2,609
7'2" to 8'5", 90 to 120L, with extra PVC through the standing area and reinforced tracks. The narrow 8'5" x 16.5" is the fast paddle-up for experienced downwinders; the 8'5" x 20" 120L is the stable one for your first runs across the bay.
FAST, €1,709 to €1,789
Foil Assist Super Trench. The Foil Drive battery sits inside the board rather than on the deck, so the centre of gravity drops and nothing catches your feet. 30, 38 and 49L. Pair it with the Code x Foil Drive integrated mast and you have the cleanest assist setup we have seen.
The Kanga dock-start board (900mm, 10L) is coming too, but Code have not released an Irish price yet, so it is not for sale until they do.
The Rv2 front wing, €1,239 to €1,529
The R2 Series is the second generation of Code's downwind and race wing. Aspect ratio 15.8, ultra high modulus carbon, seven sizes from 475 to 990. The pitch is efficiency: it harvests tiny amounts of energy and holds speed, so you read the water instead of pumping to stay up. The 741 won the Doctor this year (flat-water sprint into downwind bumps) and the wing was ridden at the 2026 Molokai 2 Oahu in almost no wind. For Galway Bay downwinding we would start an average-weight rider on the 741 or 855; the 990 is the light-wind and learner size; 475 to 660 are for lighter riders, wing racing and fast surf. Code recommend it with the Race Series tails, which now include the T80 as well as the T100 and T119.
Masts, fuselages and spares, all updated
Every Code mast is now listed and repriced: the Black Series aerospace UHM (75 to 85cm, from €2,389), the Ultra High Modulus Plus now with the 95cm in the same listing (from €1,599), the original High Modulus carbon mast (from €1,209), the aluminium mast as a complete set (€509) or as separate components, and the Foil Drive integrated mast (€2,399). The fuselage is now five lengths, 2XS (420mm) to L (540mm), from €289. Titanium and stainless bolt kits are in, so a lost bolt at Silverstrand is no longer a session-ender.
On the prices
We checked every Code price on the site against foilit.de in Germany and Wake Style in the Netherlands, both full Code dealers, and reset the whole range to within a few percent of them. That means most of the existing Code wings and masts on our site came down this week, some by over €100. You get the same price as the big EU shops, plus free Irish delivery over €200, collection in Galway, Irish warranty handled by us, and the option to try it on the water first through our demo days with the fee off the purchase.
Browse it like the Code site
The Code Foils Ireland page is laid out by category, the way Code's own site is: Boards, Front wings, Tail wings, Masts, Fuselage and Accessories. Still to come from Code, with no prices yet: the Spice Series surf tails and the S2 front wings.
Not sure which board or which litres? WhatsApp Paddy with your weight, what you ride and your home spot and we will tell you straight. We ride this gear on Galway Bay; we are not guessing from a catalogue.
