Beginner Lesson, €300
3.5 hours | private 1:1 | equipment included (booties can be purchased). Your first taste of kiting: learn the basics, fly your first kite and get moving on the water. Pay as you go.
3-Lesson Package, €800 (most popular)
3 × 3.5 hours including theory | private 1:1 | premium equipment and radio headsets included. From zero to independent rider: the fastest, safest route into kitesurfing.
Advanced Coaching, €250 (own gear) / €300 (school gear)
2.5 hours | private 1:1 | video feedback, radio headsets and demo gear. Nail your upwind riding, jumps and transitions, or try kite foiling.
Meet your instructor, Paddy
You'll be learning from someone who is as serious about safety as he is about kiting:
- BKSA Senior Instructor with 7+ years kitesurfing experience, who grew up sailing and windsurfing on Galway Bay
- Lifesaving crew member with the RNLI (Plymouth and Galway) for 6 years
- Paramedic and Advanced Paramedic, 12 years of frontline emergency experience in the UK and Ireland, and a Level 3 swiftwater rescue technician
- RYA Powerboat Level 2 and STCW 95 certified
- Private helicopter pilot, which brings a useful eye for weather
Quick questions
- Do I need experience? No, total beginners are welcome. You need to be 18 or over and able to swim.
- What do I bring? Swimwear, towel and snacks. We provide the rest (booties can be purchased from our online shop).
- Lessons all year? Yes, whenever the wind is right. If conditions don't work, we reschedule for free.
- How many lessons until I ride on my own? Most people are riding independently after the 3-lesson package; some need one more session.
- Gift vouchers? Absolutely. Lesson vouchers are emailed instantly.
Coming from outside Galway?
