All-new Ozone Reflex kite in action — launched, available in Ireland from Paddy in the Elements

Launched: the all-new Ozone Reflex — sizes, prices and who it's for

Posted by Paddy on

Big news: Ozone officially launched the all-new Reflex last night, and it's now live on our site. This is the kite replacing the Enduro in the Ozone range — and it's a serious step up, because the design is heavily based on the Vortex, Ozone's big air weapon. The pitch in one line: Vortex possibilities with everyday accessibility.

What it is

A performance freeride kite for everyone: exciting big air and kite loop performance with enough adaptability for wave and foil sessions. It's built on a Vortex-inspired shape with a 16-point bridle system, a responsive three-strut layout and a durable Teijin Triple Ripstop Dacron airframe — which matters here, because Dacron shrugs off the beach scuffs and heavy use Irish riding dishes out.

Who's it for?

Honestly — most riders. Anyone who wants the thrill of kitesurfing with as little complication and as much progression as possible. It's fully accessible from beginner to advanced: easy jumping, addictive hangtime, and a tight turning radius that makes kite loops learnable without fear. If you were eyeing an Enduro, this is its faster, more exciting successor. If you want maximum precision and power, the Vortex remains the sharper tool — the Reflex is softer, more playful and easier to live with.
