What's actually new
The headline change is structural. The original Pace Pro was a 3-strut kite — light, fast, loop-happy. The Pace Pro 2 moves to a five-strut frame built around Aluula, the ultra-light composite that's taken over the top end of big air. More struts means a more locked-in canopy under load — the moments that matter when you're sending it in 35 knots and the kite is holding your life in its leading edge. Stiffer frame, more stability at the extremes, same low weight: that's the trade Core has gone after.
Who it's for
Honest answer: committed big-air and kiteloop riders. If you're working on your first jumps, the standard Core Pace at €1,799 is the smarter buy — it's the all-rounder with big-air attitude, and it's on our beginner kites guide for a reason. The Pace Pro 2 is the step after: when loops are part of your normal session and you want the kite that rewards commitment.
