First look — straight up: we haven't ridden it yet (it only launched last night), but we know the Ozone range inside out and this is the most interesting kite they've released in years. We'll update this review the moment demo stock hits Galway Bay.
Watch it fly
Why it matters
The Reflex replaces the Enduro — one of the most popular all-round kites ever — but it isn't an Enduro V6. The design is heavily based on the Vortex, Ozone's big air machine, which means far more exciting twintip performance: bigger jumps, more hangtime, and a tight turning radius that makes kite loops learnable without fear. Ozone's line is "Vortex possibilities with everyday accessibility" — softer, more playful and easier to progress on than the Vortex, while keeping enough adaptability for wave and foil days.
The build
Three-strut responsive layout, Vortex-inspired shape, 16-point bridle, and a Teijin Triple Ripstop Dacron airframe — which we rate for Irish use, because Dacron takes beach abuse better than the exotic lightweight fabrics.
Who should be watching
Enduro owners due an upgrade, progressing riders who want their first loops without buying a full race kite, and anyone who wants one tough kite that does everything with a big air bias. If that's you, the sizes run 5m–13m from €1,559 — full pricing on the Reflex product page, or get it as a complete package with bar and board.
