White-line means a standard build strength with no custom options and white in colour. You only have to choose the size, because we have already carefully selected the rest. Meet the Malus Domestica! Appletree’s allround kiteboard for small waves and freestyle. It eats anything you throw at it.
The Malus Domestica is the product of a long search for the perfect crossover for guys who ride freestyle a lot, but sometimes find a wave to smash. The wider tail template and parallel rails make it very easy to ride. With a lot of direct response and it goes upwind like no other. The wider platform is stable to stick the hardest tricks and landings. The bottom features a unique triple concave, this makes the board very stable upwind and through chop and it prevents the board from sliding out landing sideways.
Board features
The first thing you notice on the Malus Domestica is its extreme bottom contour. But this is not where the board started. When designing a board, we first try and find the best combination of rocker, outline and rails. Only when we have this balance right we add stuff like crazy tails and bottoms to make the board better. And more exiting! The deep concaves on the rail give the board great stability when riding upwind. The bottom follows the deck contour, making the effective rail thinner and better through chops, without making the board itself too thin. The concaves cut the rocker in the middle of the bottom, this creates a super effective surface for the water to pass underneath. Making the board really fast and early planning. This is a super allround kiteboard!
The Malus Domestica comes with 5 fin boxes as standard, giving you the choice of riding quad or thruster. White line boards come with our Appletree deckpad as standard.
Construction
White-line Boards have FUTURES fin boxes as standard and come with our Appletree deckpad.
The deck of the white-line boards are lined with the hex-skin single layer sandwich with an extra internal patch under the front foot. This construction has proven to be more than strong enough for almost all riders, especially with a deck pad. White-line is the best balance in flex, weight and durability for most riders.

Collect in Galway: anything marked in stock in Galway can be picked up the same day from the trailer at Silverstrand or in Barna. Message us first so we have it ready for you.
Delivery: free Irish delivery on orders over €200. Galway stock ships for next-day delivery. Core stock is usually with you in 2 to 3 working days, Ozone in 3 when their distributor has it, other brands 5 to 10. Appletree boards are built in their factory: about 2 weeks if in stock, 8 weeks built to order, 8 to 10 weeks for a custom. We confirm an honest date on WhatsApp before you order.
Returns: 30 days to request a return on unused gear in its original packaging. Full details in our returns policy.

Everything we sell is gear we ride ourselves on Galway Bay. New gear is checked over before it leaves us. Ex-demo and ex-instructor gear is inspected, pumped up and photographed so you can see the actual item before you commit.
Galway stock can be collected the same day from the trailer at Silverstrand or in Barna. Everything else is delivered anywhere in Ireland, free over €200, and we'll give you an honest delivery date on WhatsApp before you order.
