Your easy-to-travel all-round wave kitesurf board
The Klokhouse Noseless is our most allround wave kitesurf board. By removing the nose of the board, it becomes easier to throw around as there is less swing weight. Secondly, traveling is made easier as the boards will fit in most kite bags.
The overall performance of the board is almost identical to the normal Klokhouse performance surfboard. Finally the noseless version features a grab rail in the deck, making it easier to hold onto the board while performing board-off tricks.
That surfy feeling
It’s like kitesurfing on your everyday surfboard. It has the same flex, weight and feel that everyone loves when surfing. Now available in a board that can cope with the board abuse that kitesurfing brings.
Board features
Noseless shape
It takes a bit of getting used to not seeing the pointy nose, but less weight, easy travel and a slightly looser feel make a noseless version a good option. The nose has an increased rocker to prevent it from diving.
Extra volume in the middle
The Klokhouse is based on a traditional high performance shortboard. It has that familiar feeling that you can expect from a performance surfboard. Yet it is not too “pro rider focussed”, it brings this performance feeling to the average rider as well. Partly because the board is slightly wider in the middle, it floats a bit more, helping you over those softer sections of the wave.
Rocker
It has a fair bit of rocker in the nose which is flattened out in the tail. This makes the board plane earlier and helps upwind performance. The rocker in the area that actually touches the water is the same as in the normal klokhouse, making the way the board behaves feel very similar.
Medium to thin rails
Medium to thin rails make it grip the water and give you control at high speeds which are typical when kitesurfing. Grab rails in the deck make it easier to hold on to.
Thin squash tail
The squash tail is thin for optimal feel with the water. Hard edges release the water for added speed.
Concave throughout
The bottom features a single concave throughout, which gives enormous drive and control.

Collect in Galway: anything marked in stock in Galway can be picked up the same day from the trailer at Silverstrand or in Barna. Message us first so we have it ready for you.
Delivery: free Irish delivery on orders over €200. Galway stock ships for next-day delivery. Core stock is usually with you in 2 to 3 working days, Ozone in 3 when their distributor has it, other brands 5 to 10. Appletree boards are built in their factory: about 2 weeks if in stock, 8 weeks built to order, 8 to 10 weeks for a custom. We confirm an honest date on WhatsApp before you order.
Returns: 30 days to request a return on unused gear in its original packaging. Full details in our returns policy.
Is this the right size for me? WhatsApp Paddy your weight, level and home spot and he will tell you straight. Replies usually within the hour, 8am to 9pm.
Can I try it first? Yes. Book a demo day at Silverstrand or Rusheen Bay; buy within 30 days and the demo fee comes off the price.
Can I trade in my old gear? Yes, we take part-exchange on most kites, wings, boards and foils. Send photos on WhatsApp for a price.
Do you teach on this gear? Lessons at Ireland’s only BKSA-recognised school run on the brands we sell, so you can learn on it before you buy it.

Everything we sell is gear we ride ourselves on Galway Bay. New gear is checked over before it leaves us. Ex-demo and ex-instructor gear is inspected, pumped up and photographed so you can see the actual item before you commit.
Galway stock can be collected the same day from the trailer at Silverstrand or in Barna. Everything else is delivered anywhere in Ireland, free over €200, and we'll give you an honest delivery date on WhatsApp before you order.
Book a demo day, ride the gear in real Irish conditions, and if you buy within 30 days the demo fee comes off the price. Lessons and demos are run by Ireland's only BKSA-recognised kite school.
