We are starting a monthly blog where we mention local business that we actively support.
This month (in no particular order)

Being business owners ourselves whilst also both working full time jobs, we know the struggles of doing everything yourself and wearing many many hats to keep the show on the road. That's why we actively support local businesses like ourselves.

A wood fired Sauna based at our local beach and teaching spot. This is a fantastic amenity to have on our door.

We also now have our Kite school trailer based there, so they have a discount for Kitesurfing students who learn at Paddyintheelements. Another great reason to learn how to kite with us.

Run by a local lady Louise- Who's personality is absolutely electric. She has gone and designed wild and wonderful swimsuits inspired by Blackrock diving tower here in Galway. What started as a small project has blown up to people all over Ireland and into Europe wearing her swimsuits.
We offer people wanting to get their hands on Louise's Blackrock Beachwear- to come to our shop in Barna and try them on. Louise has given us a small sample of her collections, where you can make sure it fits.
We don't take any commission whatsoever from Blackrock beachwear, we simply showcase her collection, allow people to try them on and if your interested you can either purchase from us in store (cash only) and all cash goes directly to Louise OR you can go online to https://blackrockbeachwear.ie/ and purchase directly from her to your door.
Louise is also hosting swiminpink.ie this year again (as last year was such a sucess). Organised by the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) in association with Blackrock Beachwear it has been an incredible success since its beginning in 2020.
Taking place in October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event encourages participants across the country to dip, swim, or splash in support of breast cancer research. The swim has won many awards and more than 5,000 swimmers have taken part, raising over €500,000 for life-saving research.
